A website designed for you The NPTA has joined forces with their web designer and IT consultant John Barsby, to offer NPTA members the opportunity to own a professionally designed website at an extremely competitive price.

The service has been designed as a cost effective way to help members who may be wary of trusting an unknown designer with their company information, or even their money. By using this NPTA endorsed service, members can proceed with confidence and in the certain knowledge that every assistance will be given.

Choose your design from one of the four templates. These are headed Style 01 through Style 04. Underneath you will see our Colour Ideas, a through d, which should help to show you how different a website can look by changing just two colours. You can also use the sites navigation menu (Styles 01,02 and 04) to view Colour Ideas too.

When you have chosen a design and colour scheme (our colours or your choice of colours), simply proceed to Part Two.

Part 1
Fill in the Order Form on-line and post the cheque.

If you prefer to post the order form, print it off from the on-line order form page, fill it in then post it together with your cheque.

The cheque should be in the sum of £299.00 made payable to JD Barsby. You must put your membership number on the back of the cheque and post it to;

Part 2
When the cheque has cleared, we'll write to you to ask for the website content and start to build your new website with your corporate colour choices.

We will ask for;

  1. Page text
  2. Images
  3. Text for other areas - depending on the style you chose, it can be tab menus, and other columns which are not in the main text area
  4. Tag lines if the style supports them
  5. Any other information which may be needed

You will be advised of the URL (temporary website address) so you can view the website as it starts to take shape.

Domain Names and Hosting Services
If you have asked us to help you with setting up hosting on your behalf, we'll give you more details about how this is achieved. This is usually a very quick process and should not hold up the process of your new website.

Important note.
Domain names and hosting services is an additional service and not provided directly by the NPTA Website Design service, and as such carries additional fees from the hosting company. More information on hosting can be found in our scheme details page here.

Part 3
Once the website is finished, we simply upload it to your web server. We also register the website address with the main search engines, but of course we cannot guarantee listings or placing's. Read more about search engines in our scheme detail page here.
